Doug Loyst
In 1991, after 3 1/2 years as General Sales Manager of a steel distributor in Markham, Doug Loyst formed
a partnership with Steve Walker, establishing Boss Steel Limited.
With more than 20 years experience in the steel industry, Doug's influence can be felt within every facet
of Boss Steel. Whether he's overseeing production or assuring quality control, Doug is never too
busy to help employee and customer alike. Doug's rapport
with customers has earned him a long list of
satisfied clientele. If you have any questions, or an unusually hard to find steel requirement, ask
for Doug. No request is too small and your satisfaction is his reward!
Steve Walker
Steve Walker has worked in the steel industry for his entire professional life. Shortly after
graduating with a degree as a tool and die maker in 1983, Steve started FMT Tooling Systems.
Well-established within the industry and backed by a vast amount of experience, Steve teamed up with
Doug in 1991 to found Boss Steel Limited. As Technical Advisor, Steve designs and modifies projects
to meet each customer's exact specifications. Steve's technical advice has saved many a customer thousands
of dollars in both time and money. His friendly manner and incisive mind has endeared him to his customers
and co-workers alike.
